Author attribution

Why it matters

Author attribution gives agents and search engines a clear, machine-readable signal of who stands behind the content and links it to a known entity. This supports trust and provenance (E-E-A-T) and lets systems attribute the content to its author.

How to fix it

Add a Person author with name and url to the JSON-LD of each editorial page.

1. Add an author property of type Person to the Article JSON-LD.

   "author": {"@type": "Person", "name": "Jane Doe", "url": "https://example.com/team/jane"}

2. Show the author name as visible text on the page.
