Why it matters

Sitemaps help AI crawlers discover all your pages efficiently. Without one, crawlers may miss important content or waste time discovering your site structure.

How to fix it

Publish an XML sitemap and reference it in robots.txt.

  1. Generate a sitemap.xml with a urlset or a sitemapindex root element.

  2. Add a Sitemap directive to robots.txt.

Verify

Expected: HTTP 200 with an XML body that contains urlset or sitemapindex
