First-party pricing page
ia.pricing-page · 1.15
Why it matters
Agents that compare products quote prices from the source. In the agentready.org study, pricing answers were correct more often when they came from the site itself. Prices in the raw HTML of a first-party page give agents that answer.
How to fix it
Serve a first-party pricing page with the prices in the server HTML.
-
Publish a pricing page on your own origin, for example /pricing, and link it from the home page.
-
Render each price in the server HTML. Do not load prices with JavaScript only.
-
Add Offer schema to each plan.
<script type="application/ld+json"> {"@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "Offer", "name": "Team", "price": "49", "priceCurrency": "EUR"} </script>
Verify
curl -sL https://{domain}/pricing | grep -Eo '[$€£][0-9]+' | head -1
Expected: a price such as $19
